Notifications help Familiar stay useful even when no one is actively staring at the app. Whether they appear reliably depends on browser permissions, background restrictions, and whether your device allows the installed app to stay current.

• Allow browser notifications when prompted if you want alerts.
• Check device-level notification settings if alerts stop appearing.
• Use direct app checks as a fallback for critical workflows.

4. 4If the site recently changed domains or auth settings, reinstall so the latest manifest and service worker are used.

Offline support helps with continuity, but it does not mean every action becomes instantly authoritative without internet. If something matters urgently, confirm it after reconnecting.
